The American Community Gardening Association hosted its national convention in Atlanta, Georgia, August 5-8, 2010. Community gardeners from all across North America were in attendance.

On Saturday, August 7th, Community Gardens of Henry County opened its gardens for tours by convention attendees in the afternoon. Tour buses visited the Windy Hill Family Garden, Hooten Street Community Garden, and Heritage Village and Wesley Way community gardens.

We were delighted to have our gardens included for this tour. And, of course, our community gardeners are very pleased to receive such wide recognition.
